Salt Spray Testing
One of the numerous types of tests that Quest performs is salt spray testing. Our 47″ X 32″ chamber is capable of performing corrosion tests to a variety of standards, such as the following:
- ASTM B117
- MIL STD 202
- MIL STD 810
This type of testing is useful in many industries, such as military, medical, aerospace, and consumer. These tests simulate corrosion effects that occur during storage, distribution, and real-world operation. It is recommended that salt spray testing be performed, in order to validate the product design. This will help assure that the product will meet your reliability goal, even for shipments to highly corrosive environments worldwide.

The internationally accepted certification for test and calibration companies is ISO 17025.
