ISO 17025 Accreditation

Quest Engineering Solutions is an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited test lab.

ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation includes the quality requirements of the ISO 9000 family of standards, such as ISO 9001.  In addition, ISO/IEC 17025:2017 includes special requirements applicable to test and calibration laboratories.

The newest version of ISO/IEC 17025 is the 2017 version.  Changes in this version include tighter proficiency demonstration test requirements.  While Quest is accredited to the newest version, some test labs are continuing to use the 2005 version until compliance to the more stringent requirements of the 2017 version becomes mandatory.

The ILAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) supports international trade by promoting international confidence and acceptance of accredited laboratory and inspection results. ILAC is the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation.  It is the global authority on laboratory accreditation, with a membership of accreditation bodies and affiliated organizations throughout the world.

Quest’s certification by PJLA Is recognized by the certification organizations throughout the world that participate in this MRA. In the United States, the participating accreditation organizations include PJLA, A2LA and NVLAP.
